- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, testing and methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of built-in single-face unbalanced and built-in single-face balanced mechanical seals for ship pump shafts. This standard applies to the mechanical seals of the rotating shafts of ship power pumps and rotary positive displacement pumps, and also applies to the mechanical seals of the rotating shafts of ship auxiliary machines (such as compressors, refrigerators, fans, etc.). The sealing medium can be fresh water, sea water, bilge water, fuel oil and lubricating oil, etc. Its working parameters are: working pressure is 0~1.6MPa (referring to the medium pressure in the sealed cavity), working temperature is -20~+100℃ (water medium working temperature is -20~+80℃), and the rotation speed is not high, 3600r/ min, the outer diameter of the installation shaft (or sleeve) is 10~140mm.
