Scope

This standard is applicable to the inspection of free chlorine and total chlorine of the water quality of ship sewage treatment discharge water, and also applies to the inspection of the water quality of other waste water discharge water. It is especially suitable for rapid determination of free chlorine and total chlorine at experimental sites or water quality monitoring station laboratories. This standard measures the total chlorine concentration from 0.03ppm to 5ppm. If the total chlorine concentration is higher than 5ppm, the water sample must be diluted to within this range first, and then measured according to the prescribed steps.
